Pacifico Energy highlights the need for Korea-U.S. collaboration on supply chain and energy security in offshore wind

Pacifico Energy Korea showcased Korea’s offshore wind potential and emerging opportunities for Korea-U.S. collaboration at the “Evolving Energy Forum: Opportunities in the Korea-U.S. Partnership,” hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM), in collaboration with Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the U.S. Department of Energy, the State of Alaska, and the AMCHAM Energy Committee.

Pacifico Energy Korea appointed to Jeonnam Wind Power Association Executive Board

Pacifico Energy Korea has been appointed as an Executive Board member of the Jeonnam Wind Power Association at the Association’s 2025 General Meeting convened in Muan, Jeonnam Province, on March 19. With this landmark appointment, Pacifico Energy Korea becomes not only the sole foreign member of the Executive Board, but also the first U.S.-based offshore wind developer on the Executive Board.

Pacifico Energy signed an investment declaration (“Investment Declaration”) worth several hundred billion Korean Won during an “Investment Declaration Ceremony” held by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) in Washington, D.C. This investment will be fully allocated to the 420 MW Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind Project, which Pacifico Energy Korea is developing in Jindo County in South Jeolla Province, and to the development of the domestic offshore wind supply chain in South Jeolla Province.

Pacifico and Seogeocha Island sign co-existence agreement to accelerate Myeong Ryang project

On March 28, Pacifico Energy Korea signed a Co-existence Agreement with the Seogeocha Island Offshore Wind Promotion Committee, which comprises residents of Seogeocha Island located in Jindo County of South Jeolla Province.

Pacifico Energy Korea has signed a Co-Existence Agreement to accelerate the development of the company’s Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind Project with the Seogeocha Island Offshore Wind Promotion Committee, which comprises of residents of Seogeocha Island located in Jindo County, South Jeolla Province. With this agreement, Pacifico Energy Korea achieved a significant milestone towards the development of its 420 MW Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind Project.
