Pacifico Energy, a leading global energy infrastructure developer, has submitted an investment declaration worth over $1 billion to South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR) for the Manho Offshore Wind Project (990 MW) and Jindo Baram Offshore Wind Project (1.8 GW) at the “U.S. Investment Ceremony,” hosted by MOTIR and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). The investment marks a strategic step for Pacifico Energy to strengthen its position in supplying clean energy for Korea’s advanced industries.

Pacifico Energy Korea, a leading U.S.-based offshore wind developer, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with three offshore wind suppliers based in the Gwangyang Bay Area of Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City, to establish a tailored local supply chain for the 3.2 GW Jindo Offshore Wind Project Cluster. The collaboration has been formed between Pacifico Energy Korea and EEW KHPC, an offshore wind foundation manufacturer; KMC Line Co., Ltd., a marine logistics and offshore wind vessel operator; and CS Energy Co., Ltd., a supplier specializing in the manufacture and supply of key foundation components for offshore wind.

Pacifico Energy Achieves Commercial Operations at Sunpro Wind Farm in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta

Pacifico Energy Vietnam (“PEV”), the Vietnam-based development platform of Pacifico Energy Group (“PEG”), a leading global energy infrastructure developer, today announced the commencement of commercial operations at its 30 MW Sunpro Wind Farm (“Sunpro”), adding new power capacity to Vietnam’s national grid, supporting the country’s transition to clean energy. Located in Thới Thuận Commune, Vĩnh Long Province in the Mekong Delta, Sunpro achieved commercial operations on December 19, 2025. PEG owns 100% of Sunpro, which is backed by a 20-year feed-in tariff with Vietnam Electricity Group (“EVN”), providing stable, long-term revenue.

Pacifico Energy Korea Secures Electricity Business License for 420MW Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind Project

Pacifico Energy Korea has secured approval for an Electricity Business License (EBL) from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) for its 420MW Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind Project located off the coast of Jindo County, South Jeolla Province. The EBL confirms the project’s site boundaries and capacity, allowing Pacifico Energy Korea to commence the key permitting process. This milestone is also expected to accelerate Pacifico Energy Korea’s development of the 3.2GW Jindo offshore wind project cluster.

Pacifico Energy Korea signs agreement to promote Jeollanamdo Province’s offshore wind industry and revitalize the Daebul Industrial Complex

Pacifico Energy Korea has jointly signed a “Cooperation Agreement for the Development of the Offshore Wind Industry and Revitalization of the Daebul Industrial Complex” with three local governments — Jeollanam-do, Jindo-gun, and Yeongam-gun — and Yuil Co., Ltd., an offshore wind equipment supplier located in the Daebul Industrial Complex in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do. Based on this agreement, Pacifico Energy Korea, together with Jeollanam-do, Jindo-gun, Yeongam-gun, and Yuil, plans to seek practical cooperation measures for administrative support regarding its 3.2GW offshore wind farm cluster project currently under development in Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, and for establishing an offshore wind industry ecosystem in Jeollanam-do.

Pacifico Energy Korea has been appointed as an Executive Board member of the Jeonnam Wind Power Association at the Association’s 2025 General Meeting convened in Muan, Jeonnam Province, on March 19. With this landmark appointment, Pacifico Energy Korea becomes not only the sole foreign member of the Executive Board, but also the first U.S.-based offshore wind developer on the Executive Board.
