Position Overview
Pacifico Energy is a U.S.-based renewable energy company specializing in the development, construction, operation and asset management of wind, solar, hydrogen, and energy storage system (ESS) projects across the U.S. and in the Asia-Pacific region. We have been developing a large-scale 3.2 GW offshore wind project cluster in South Jeolla Province, Korea, and are looking to grow our team in Seoul.

Senior Stakeholder Manager will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders involved in company’s projects
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, develop communication strategies, and map key stakeholders to support effective stakeholder management, and continuously update stakeholder engagement plans in line with project needs.
- Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including local community, fishermen, and local authorities.
- Plan and implement stakeholder engagement activities, and provide post-engagement reporting tailored to local communication needs.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, investors, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on messaging and engagement strategies.
- Anticipate stakeholder concerns, manage potential conflicts proactively, and protect the company’s reputation and project timelines.
- Monitor local policies that may impact the project and provide timely reports to leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with social performance, environmental, and corporate governance standards.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in stakeholder management, community relations or similar roles, with a focus on engaging local stakeholders, particularly residents and fishermen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A resilient and persistent approach to stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to thrive in diverse social environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive issues and balance diverse stakeholder interests effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to project sites and stakeholder locations.
- Proven experience securing consent for large-scale energy projects in Korea; offshore wind or other renewable experience preferred.
